Katelyn Ohashi is an American artistic gymnast who became viral after her perfect 10 score at the 2019 Collegiate Challenge became viral on the Internet.
Katelyn was born on April 12, 1997, in Washington to Richard and Diana Ohashi. She went to Spring Creek Academy and then Plano Senior High School. She is now majoring in gender studies at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Ohashi was just 12 years old when she made her debut on the national gymnastics at 2009 Junior Olympic National Championships. She then competed in her first elite meet at the U.S. Classic where she placed fourth on floor in the junior division.
Katelyn is a six-time All-American and was a four-time member of USA Gymnastics’ Junior National Team, the 2011 Junior national champion and the winner of 2013 American Cup.
