Recently, In January 2018, Tekashi69 posted an Instagram post claiming he signed a $7.5 million record deal followed by $15 million management deal with Birdman’s RICHGANG company a month later. In November 10, 2017, Tekashi69 released a song called “Gummo”. It was a massive hit and peaked at No. 12 on US Billboard Hot 100. His next song “Kooda” peaked at #61 on the Hot 100 on December 2017. Hernandez then released his debut album titled “Day69”. It debuted at Number four on the Billboard 200 chart and sold more than 55,000 albums.

4. Tekashi69 was robbed, kidnapped and beaten by three unknown stranger.

On July 22, 2018, Tekashi69 was robbed, kidnapped and beaten brutally by three unknown stranger. According to TMZ, the rapper was working on a music video in Brooklyn and while he drove car, another car pulled up and blocked his driveway.

According to sources, the gunmen took $750K in jewelry and around $20K in cash. While, they were driving, 6ix9ine was able to open the back door and jumped out of the car. He called for police help via stranger and was immediately taken to hospital.

5. He had feud with several rappers in the past.

Tekashi69’s first fight came with his previous partner Trippie Redd who once collaborated on song “Poles1469”. Their relationship turned sour after Trippie Redd did not want to work with Hernandez following the rumor about Hernandez being a pedophile. He even posted a photo of Hernandez holding hands with another man in an attempt to show him as a homosexual. Later that month, while Trippie Redd was in a hotel in New York, he was assaulted. After that they continued to exchange insults on Instagram Live.

He also had a heated exchange with Chief Keef. It all started after 6ix9ine dissed him on Instagram. Hernandez claimed than Chief Keef and his associates were “p***y” if they didn’t kill him within next 48 hours in NYC.  On June 2, 2018, Chief Keef was shot outside the hotel in New York City but no injuries resulted from that incident. Hernandez was investigated by the Police and no clear evidence was found regarding the shooting.

Apart from that, he also had fight with rappers like Pierre Bourne, Casanova, Acie High, The Game and YG.
